Sexual Assault Services Victoria is the peak body for the specialist sexual assault sector. They advocate on behalf of our services and for victim survivors. They also provide training, have resources and run campaigns.
The Victorian Government provides free information and support to people who have experienced a crime in Victoria. This support is through Victims of Crime services. They have a phone line and information on their website.
Victoria has a Victims of Crime Commissioner. It is the Commissioner’s job to make sure victims of crime receive the support they should. If you feel like CASA House or Victoria Police has not treated you with respect, you can make a complaint through the Commissioner’s website. You can also provide feedback to CASA House.
Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Teams take reports and investigate sexual assault and child abuse.
Victoria Legal Aid provides free legal information and support across Victoria. They have specific information and resources on understanding sexual assault and the law.
The Sexual Assault Crisis Line (SACL) provides 24/7 support for victim survivors of sexual assault across Victoria. SACL is a program of the Royal Women’s Hospital and provides state-wide support for victim survivors of sexual assault.

Making Rights Reality is a project at the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA). It is for people with an intellectual disability who have experienced sexual assault. There are resources, social stories and information about sexual assault and accessing services.
