Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault Workshop

CASA House regularly runs the workshop Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault (RDSA) for professionals. We have been delivering the RDSA for over 20 years and it is both well attended and well-reviewed.

The RDSA workshops are for all professionals, students and volunteers who may receive disclosures of sexual assault in their current or future roles. Workshops are co-facilitated by our training team and a counsellor advocate. The content is highly interactive and draws on CASA House’s intersectional feminist and trauma-informed frameworks.

Our standard workshops are suited to individual participants. CASA House offers customised training for groups of five or more from one organisation,

Participants include social workers, nurses, allied health, therapists, community workers, lawyers and educators. We offer our standard one-day training up to twice a month, both online and in person.

CASA House acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their continuing connection to, and care for, land and waters. We acknowledge this land was stolen, and that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respect to Elders, past and present.
